Chimney Systems for Hot Tubs – Wood-Fired Spa Solutions

Accurate chimney design is essential for wood-fired hot tubs to ensure safe exhaust of combustion gases, consistent heating, and prevention of smoke infiltration. RGJ offers specialized stainless steel chimney solutions manufactured in Latvia with over a decade of expertise and CE certification. Our chimney systems deliver durability in harsh outdoor conditions, resistant to moisture, corrosion, and extreme temperature fluctuations.

Hot Tub Chimney Solutions

RGJ provides two main chimney configurations for hot tubs. The first is an external-heater system where the wood-fired stove sits adjacent to the tub. This configuration simplifies installation and maintenance. The second is an integrated internal-heater system, mounting the stove beneath or within the tub platform for a streamlined appearance and even heat distribution. Available in standard diameters of 115 mm and 130 mm, all units are constructed from AISI 304 stainless steel, ensuring high corrosion resistance and longevity. Our external systems feature insulated double-wall jackets to maintain flue gas temperatures and protect surrounding structures, while internal models prioritize compactness without compromising performance.

Complete Kits & Length

Standard RGJ hot tub chimney kits are 2 meters (200 cm) long, customized to spa dimensions. Each kit includes a rain cap with spark arrestor, high-temperature silicone gaskets, and all necessary flue pipes and connectors. Stainless steel mounting brackets secure the chimney to walls or frames. Additional accessories—extension pipes, 45° and 90° elbows, and ceiling or roof penetration plates—are available upon request. All components meet EN 1856-1 standards and CE certification, ensuring compliance with Nordic forestry regulations and building codes.

Selection & Installation

To choose the correct diameter, match the chimney cross-section to your stove output: 115 mm for up to 12 kW and 130 mm for higher outputs. Maintain a minimum chimney height of 2.5 meters above the appliance outlet for optimal draught. Observe safe clearances: at least 50 cm from combustibles and 1 meter above any adjacent roof surface. Use certified wall or roof passes to preserve airtightness and fire safety. RGJ provides detailed installation guides and technical support in English and Swedish.
